The Charlotte White Sox were a Negro League ball club that may have played from only the years of 1944 - 1945, but although their playing time may have been short, newspapers have boasted them as a sight to see.
The "Sox" played against opponents like the Gastonia Red Sox, Statesville Grey-Owls, and the Statesville Owls.
Players like W. Jeter were some of the roster of this short lived ball club.
