In 2014, the Knights held a Hornets tribute game where former Hornets players or family to represent that player would attend the game. A few players that could not attend the game would have a video of them on the jumbo tron. The Knights have also held a few tributes for the Charlotte O's, as well as the Negro Leagues. The MiLB AAA All-Star game was held in Charlotte in the 2016 season. Many names have come and gone in the last 5 years, like Jason Coats, Tim Anderson, Matt Davidson Chris Sale, White Sox star prospect Yoan Moncada (left photo), and many others.
